Accelerating Nature with Rawbin
Rawbin is an electric home composting system designed to turn kitchen waste into real compost. The device uses controlled heat, airflow, and internal agitation to accelerate the breakdown of organic matter without producing only dehydrated flakes.
Users place food scraps and the Rawbin microbial mixture into Rawbin’s upper chamber, where the system manages temperature, oxygen flow, and microbial activity to support accelerated decomposition. The outcome is nutrient-rich real compost suitable for gardening and plant growing applications. Rawbin is intended for frequent home use, with a design that allows organic waste to be added regularly and composted efficiently through the programmed cycle.

Dual-Stage Separation
A perforated filter with 2–3 inch holes separates both chambers. As dried waste shrinks, a sweeping bar automatically transfers it down to the curing stage.
Natural Heat, Low Energy
The curing chamber captures exothermic heat generated by microbial metabolism — letting biology do the heavy lifting with minimal electricity.
Stirred, Sensed & Cleanly Harvested
Blades agitate every 2–3 hrs. Sensors track moisture, temp & airflow. A FIFO filter drops only fully cured compost into the harvest drawer.
The Self-Sustaining Microbial System
Rawbin's composting ability depends not on chemistry or heat alone, but on a living microbial culture — a self-sustaining ecosystem seeded into the device at setup.
The "Curd-Milk" Analogy
Similar to how curd is made from milk: a small quantity of active culture is introduced to the right environment, and from that point the colony propagates itself, eliminating the need for recurring starter purchases.
5 Functional Groups
Combines five specialized microbes — Bacillus, Lactobacillus, Trichoderma, Aspergillus, and Streptomyces — selected specifically to break down a wide range of organic inputs.
Zero Replacement Filters
